Unpolished rajma has a high fiber and very low fat content. It is a great source of vegan protein. This rajma is grown in a village called Munsiyari in Uttarakhand at an altitude of 8000 ft above sea level. The farmers use organic cultivation methods without the use of insecticides, pesticides or any chemicals.
This rajma is sown in early summer and is ready for harvest by early winter. All our rajma is grown on small farms located in remote valleys of Munsiyari, where the clean air and mineral rich spring water play a vital role in color, texture fragrance and taste of these beans. The beans are dried on the plants and removed only after attaining the desired dryness. This also helps to retain nutrients.
Since this is a natural agricultural produce subject to weather changes, color variations can be expected which will not affect the quality of fragrance or taste.
